Thirty years later the internationally operating TGISC® is a global market leader. Worldwide, there is not a single competitor, no corporate or strategy consultancy, that develops and realizes innovations on the basis of futurology and verifying market research. |
TGISC® finds solutions for tomorrow and beyond, which immediately guarantee the clients market leadership, attractive returns, and significant value – today. With the innowait system,*** which is unrivalled anywhere in the world, THOMSEN GROUP International Strategy Consultants Estd. 1984 determines how people will live in 2050. And what the clients‘ customers expect of it today. This is how TGISC® creates product innovations, price strategies or sales solutions. |
This system is now also being taught at the university level. It's said that THOMSEN GROUP International Strategy Consultants Estd. 1984 is the "most future-oriented" one among the top consultancies. |
But let’s take things in order. |
In 1984, Ben Thomsen founded the first company in the THOMSEN GROUP as the founding partner after completing his studies of medicine and business administration. Thomsen developed various working systems. |
Prof. Thomsen gives specialized talks and presentations on an ongoing basis and is a sought-after guest for radio and TV interviews. He also designs and leads top management seminars and workshops. His consulting practice focuses on market strategies, with special emphasis on product development, pricing strategies, placement solutions, media presence, and human capital. In this context enterprises like Deutsche Telekom, Banco Santander, Allianz Group, PAYCHEX New York Inc., Chinese Sany, Japanese Panasonic et al. belong to his portfolio of references, partially for more than 20 years. |
Since 1993, Ben Thomsen has frequently been tapped to serve on the selection committee for scholarships to support the gifted and talented in the Federal Republic of Germany, under the auspices of various German presidents. |
In 1999, Thomsen developed the Resulting System, which became the basis for multiple companies in the TGISC®, whose principal shareholder is Prof. Ben Thomsen. |
That same year, Thomsen founded a charitable German non-profit organization,
where he has served as chairman of the board ever since. This organization is a donation fund for children that supports silently and discretely those little ones who usually are not heard: whether in the beginning mistreated and neglected children in the Bavarian electoral district of Edmund Stoiber had been supported in order to have them regain trust and believe in life, or supporting activities in Ukraine where 160.000 children were abandoned by their parents. Those children had to live in "boarding schools" led by uniformed staff and sometimes they didn't have wastewater disposal. |
He is co-founder of the Research Center for Real Estate Innovation at the EBS University of Business and Law (European Business School). He furthermore lectures at the university named after the Jain family (Anshu Jain is ex co-chairman of Deutsche Bank). |
Prof. Ben Thomsen is member of the Überseeclub and is involved at (i. a. as a representative for high-level political summits) the American Chamber. |
Prof. Thomsen is married and has three sons and one daughter. He lives in Hamburg. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and meeting up with friends, boating and travel, especially to international cities. His favorite city is New York City, where he enjoys going for a run in Central Park, just as he does around the Sydney Opera House or Hamburg’s Alster lake. |
